The Alpha course was designed by Nicky Gumbel to help people find a relationship with the God who created them. The Beta course is an eleven week study designed to run parallel with Alpha. Beta focuses its participants on the Church.
When we received Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we joined a large family of believers around the world. Although there are at different degrees of involvement and understanding, estimates are that about two billion people claim to be Christians in our world today. Participants in Beta will learn how God intends that this large group of called-out believers should function and behave; and where we personally fit into God's plans and purposes. Beta promises to be a growth-enhancing semester for all who take this path together. I trust you will enjoy the journey.
