Hi, I’m Barry Buzza,

Author of 18 books and pastor to a growing church in British Columbia, Canada. After years of teaching and pastoring I decided to write my first book in 2000. A key element in each of my books, pastoring and teaching can be summarized in two scriptures that are near and dear to me:
And He said to him, ' you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the great and foremost commandment." The second is like it, ‘you shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." - Jesus
Matthew 22:37-40
“Then teach them the statutes and the laws, and make known to them the way in which they are to walk and the work they are to do” – Jethro (Moses’ Father-in-law)
Exodus 18:20
In the first scripture, I cherish two key values 1) love God and 2) love others.
In the second scripture, I am pointed in the direction as a pastor, writer or teacher to love others by first, Teaching the Word. I believe the bible is our basic instruction manual that everyone should read and come to understand how it applies to your own life. The Red Thread series was written for this purpose.
Secondly, Teach the Way. God has prepared a unique pathway for each of us. This pathway relates to our God-given gifts, our talents, skills, experiences, temperament, and life situation. I want to point people in the way they should walk. I wrote Life Journey to accomplish this.
Thirdly, Teach the Work. Everybody has been given a life assignment and will one day be asked by God, “Did you do what I told you to do?” My job is to help people find their destined purpose. My intent is that the book Life Purpose will help to achieve just that.
I hope that you will have the opportunity to enjoy my books as much as I enjoyed writing them.
Blessings,Barry

Wealth with Wings On Sunday I'll be teaching from Proverbs, where Solomon wrote from his experience "Do not weary yourself to gain wealth, Cease from your consideration of it. When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings like an eagle that flies toward the heavens" (Proverbs 23:4-5).

Ecclesiastes This Wednesday we're studying from one of my favorite books, "Ecclesiastes". In Solomon's journal, he wrote about his life-time quest for fulfillment. It's fascinating to follow his winding life journey to a good ending. Bible Study is on Wednesday nights at Northside Church Coquitlam Campus at 7pm. |

Faith in the Unseen Some things you cannot see. In this article I tell a story to an atheist friend about the invisible world. As Helen Keller wrote, "There is nothing quite so sad as a person who has eyes but cannot see." |
